Airlink has unveiled a series of exciting updates to its flight schedule, offering more options and convenience for travellers across Africa.

From new seasonal routes to enhanced daily services, these changes are set to benefit both leisure and business travellers.

Twice-Weekly Seasonal Flights to St Helena

Starting in December 2024, Airlink will expand its services to the remote St Helena Island with a new twice-weekly seasonal flight. In addition to the existing Johannesburg-St Helena route, a new service from Cape Town will commence on 7 December 2024. All flights to St Helena will include a fuel stop in Walvis Bay, Namibia, making it easier for travellers to reach this unique destination in the South Atlantic.

New Daily Flights to Dar es Salaam

For those travelling to Tanzania, Airlink has added a daily service between South Africa and Dar es Salaam. This includes a newly introduced Saturday flight, providing more flexibility and convenience for both business and leisure travellers looking to explore Tanzania’s vibrant capital or access the country’s renowned safari destinations.

Lusaka Nightstop Service

Airlink’s Zambia services have also been updated with a new nightstop schedule, effective from 1 October 2024. The revised timetable allows for a full business day in either Lusaka or Johannesburg, making it ideal for corporate travellers needing to maximise their time in these key business hubs.

More Daily Options for Maputo

From 1 October 2024, Airlink has increased its daily flights between Johannesburg and Maputo, Mozambique. This additional service gives travellers more flexibility when planning their trips between the two cities, whether for business or pleasure.

With these new flight options, Airlink continues to strengthen its network across Southern Africa, offering more convenient and reliable connections to some of the region’s most popular and emerging destinations.
