Bench Africa launches the ultimate trade-friendly Africa brochure

Bench Africa, Australia’s original Africa travel specialist, has unveiled its latest brochure, setting a new standard for trade-friendly resources in the travel industry. With nearly 56 years of expertise, Bench Africa’s latest edition introduces innovative tools and expanded itineraries, all designed to support travel advisors in offering exceptional African experiences to their clients.

A toolkit designed for travel advisors

The new brochure was developed with direct input from travel advisors, ensuring it meets the practical needs of the trade. Each itinerary now features a QR code for mobile use and a new Trip Code system for quick desktop searches on Bench Africa’s upcoming redesigned website. This dual-access approach allows travel advisors to efficiently retrieve seasonal pricing and departure dates, whether consulting with clients in person or remotely.

Additionally, a new Travel Style tag has been introduced, clearly differentiating between small group tours and independent tailormade journeys. This enhancement aims to simplify itinerary selection and ensure advisors can effortlessly match clients with their ideal safari experience.

Expanded collection of African adventures

The brochure includes a host of new itineraries alongside Bench Africa’s best-selling trips. Among the standout additions are:

  • Valley Safari (Zambia): A journey into Zambia’s pristine wilderness, combining South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi with luxurious accommodation and rich wildlife encounters.
  • Discover Kenya Scenic Air Safari: An exclusive itinerary featuring scenic flights in Bench-owned Cessna Grand Caravans, connecting Ol Pejeta, the Masai Mara, and Amboseli.
  • Northern Circuit: An affordable new itinerary offering off-the-beaten-path experiences through Naivasha, Nakuru, Samburu, and Ol Pejeta, with a focus on conservation.

Bench Africa’s popular itineraries, including the Highlights of East Africa, South Africa Odyssey, and Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda, remain at the heart of the collection with updated, user-friendly brochure pages showcasing lodge selections and travel details.

Embracing family travel and future growth

Acknowledging the rising trend of multi-generational travel, Bench Africa’s brochure now features a dedicated Family Safaris section. This section highlights malaria-free regions and properties tailored for families with young children, meeting the growing demand for safe and family-friendly travel experiences.

Bench Africa is also investing heavily in technology to enhance the travel planning experience. Following the success of its interactive online quotes, which offer clients immersive itinerary previews, the company is preparing to launch a completely redesigned website. The new site promises a seamless integration with the brochure, offering an intuitive tool for agents presenting African travel options to clients.

Luxury safari experiences and trade support

To further elevate its offerings, Bench Africa has expanded its fleet of 4WD safari vehicles in Kenya. The new luxury, 4-seater models feature larger windows for unobstructed game viewing, extra luggage space, and picnic awnings—delivering a more exclusive and comfortable experience for high-end clients.

Andy Kirkman, Head of Trade Relations at Bench Africa, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting travel agents:

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the most trade-friendly Africa brochure on the market. We’ve incorporated valuable agent feedback and continue to invest in tools and services that make the travel planning process easier for our trade partners.”
