Bench Africa is excited to announce the release of a digital-only brochure in partnership with Nomad Africa. Nomad represents a collection of curated overland and cross-country tours spanning Southern and East Africa, featuring a diverse range of experiences, inclusive activities, and both camping and accommodated stays.

With Nomad’s purpose-built vehicles and seasoned local crew, safety and comfort are ensured throughout the journey. Delve beyond tourist hotspots to discover the authentic Africa, engaging with locals and uncovering hidden gems. From iconic landmarks to cultural immersion, small group sizes of 12-20 travellers ensure a more personalised experience.

Whilst Nomad’s 20-seat vehicles service their ‘standard’ scheduled tours with the option of either camping or accommodated, the 12-seater vehicles deliver a premium overland tour experience. Designed with a more discerning traveller in mind who still desires this classic Africa style of travel, travellers will find swivel leather seats, air-conditioning, and an on-board toilet. Plus, 3-4 star ensuite permanent tented camp, lodge or hotel room at the end of each day.

Bench Africa’s Trade Relations Manager, Andy Kirkman, comments on the new brochure, “We’re thrilled to work closer with Nomad and highlight this active and deeply authentic way of travelling cross-country Africa. Speak to anyone who travelled Africa 15-20 years ago and they recall extremely fond memories of their overland adventures. The range complements our existing product portfolio, and our partnership means Bench Africa can strengthen our distribution of this great value product into the Australian market, right to the core of their 35-65 travelling demographic through our travel trade partners.”
