&Beyond will open the doors to its newest Kenyan property, &Beyond Suyian Lodge, later this month, marking a major addition to its East African portfolio. Located in the 44,000-acre Suyian Conservancy in north-western Laikipia, the lodge promises an exclusive and immersive safari experience in one of Kenya’s most ecologically significant regions.
Perched on the edge of an escarpment overlooking the Ewaso Narok River, Suyian Lodge features 14 expansive suites, including a family suite and a triple suite. Each is fitted with a private lounge, outdoor shower, and plunge pool offering sweeping views of Mount Kenya and the surrounding wilderness.
A fusion of design, culture and conservation
The lodge’s interiors draw on Afro-Wabi-Sabi influences and incorporate elements inspired by the semi-nomadic Samburu people, using locally sourced materials to reflect the landscape and culture. Facilities include a wellness centre, steam room, yoga deck, interactive map room, chef’s kitchen and library.
Guests can enjoy a range of activities including game drives, camel and walking safaris, horseback riding, cultural visits and active ranching experiences. Helicopter excursions and catch-and-release fishing are also available, while families will appreciate the lodge’s WILDchild programme for younger guests.
Conservation at the core
&Beyond is the sole operator within Suyian Conservancy and will manage both the lodge and future low-impact developments such as mobile camps and sky beds. In partnership with conservation NGO Space for Giants, &Beyond aims to position Suyian as a financially self-sustaining model for protected area management.

Suyian Lodge joins &Beyond’s existing Kenyan camps, Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp and Bateleur Camp, in the Maasai Mara.
