Desert & Delta Safaris has released its 2027 rates and package structures, alongside a series of portfolio updates that will expand options for trade partners selling Botswana safari itineraries.
The Botswana-based operator has introduced rate adjustments across its accommodation and air transfer products while confirming the integration of new properties into its safari circuit.
New rates reflect operating cost increases
Desert & Delta Safaris said the 2027 pricing structure was finalised following extensive review of operating costs, including the impact of ongoing volatility in global fuel markets.
Rate increases for 2027 include 7.5 per cent during the green season and 9 per cent during both shoulder and peak seasons. Safari Air charter seat rates will increase by 5 per cent.
An air fuel surcharge has also been introduced for all fixed-wing and helicopter charter transfers. The surcharge may be amended or removed should fuel prices stabilise.
The operator has advised trade partners that a provisional 10 per cent increase can be applied for 2028 quotations until official rates are released.
Portfolio expands with new safari experiences
Following its launch in 2026, Sediba Sa Rona has now been fully integrated into the Desert & Delta portfolio.
Mapula has also been added to the company’s safari circuit and is available for bookings travelling from 2027 onwards, creating additional opportunities for itinerary combinations across Botswana’s key wildlife regions.
The operator continues to promote its specialist guiding programme and Epic Experiences collection, which includes the award-winning Okavango to Tsodilo Ultra-Trail experience.
Trade-focused changes simplify quoting
Several operational adjustments have been introduced to streamline the quoting process for travel advisors.
The Chobe Impact Fee will now be displayed as a package rate, simplifying the calculation of final itinerary costs. Package override discounts for five- and six-night stays have been reduced by one percentage point.
Meanwhile, there will be no increase in pricing for Camp Okavango sleep-out experiences or private sleep-out experiences across the portfolio.
The release of the new rates provides trade partners with early visibility for 2027 and reflects continued investment in Botswana’s high-end safari sector as demand for experiential travel and conservation-focused tourism continues to grow.
