Fastjet adds new Bulawayo–Victoria Falls service

Fastjet Zimbabwe is set to expand its domestic network with the launch of a new route connecting Bulawayo and Victoria Falls from 8 August 2025. The service will operate four times a week, offering greater connectivity between Zimbabwe’s second-largest city and its premier tourism destination.

Flights will run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays using Fastjet’s Embraer regional jet aircraft. Flight FN8111 will depart Bulawayo at 13:25, arriving in Victoria Falls at 14:20. The return flight, FN8112, will take off at 14:50 and arrive back in Bulawayo at 15:45.

“The new Bulawayo to Victoria Falls flight strengthens our presence in Bulawayo and underscores our commitment to the development of tourism in the region,” said Fastjet Zimbabwe Spokesperson, Nunurai Ndawana.

“Our four times a week flights will offer more travel opportunities and support leisure and corporate travel between the two cities.”

Vivian Ruwuya, Fastjet Zimbabwe’s Chief Commercial Officer, added that the route follows thorough industry consultation.

“We have been monitoring the development and traffic trends between the manufacturing city of Bulawayo and our tourism hub of Victoria Falls,” she said.

“The introduction of a scheduled service is a result of widespread consultative engagements and collaboration with key players in the industry.”

The new connection is expected to support tourism and business links within Zimbabwe and further strengthen Fastjet’s role in regional aviation.
