Minor Hotels has announced the signing of NH Collection Accra, marking the brand’s debut in Ghana and its first entry into West Africa. The property is scheduled to open in 2030.
The agreement was signed during THINC Middle East 2026, reflecting Minor Hotels’ continued expansion across key gateway cities in Africa.
Mixed-use development in central Accra

Located in the heart of Accra, the 200-key hotel will form part of a modern mixed-use development with hotel, retail and office components.
Positioned near Jubilee House and within easy reach of Kotoka International Airport, the property will offer convenient access to government, corporate and embassy districts.
The development is being led by Swami India Ghana Limited, a diversified real estate group with projects across West Africa and the Middle East.
Supporting commercial and diplomatic demand
NH Collection Accra will target corporate, diplomatic and long-stay travellers, responding to Ghana’s growing international connectivity and commercial activity.
Amir Golbarg, Chief Operations Officer – Middle East and Africa for Minor Hotels, said Ghana represents one of West Africa’s most dynamic and promising markets.
Chairman of Swami India Ghana Limited, Dinesh G. Gorasiya, said the project reflects the group’s commitment to delivering internationally aligned hospitality assets that contribute to Ghana’s economic development.
NH Collection Accra will join Minor Hotels’ global portfolio of more than 640 properties across 59 countries.
