O&L Leisure expands Namibia access with new private aircraft fleet

O&L Leisure has announced the acquisition of additional aircraft to enhance guest travel across Namibia, improving access between key destinations within its portfolio.

New aircraft to improve connectivity

The Ohlthaver & List (O&L) Group has added new aircraft to its fleet to streamline travel for both international visitors and domestic guests exploring Namibia’s remote regions.

The expanded fleet includes a King Air B350 for mid-sized groups of up to eight passengers and a Cirrus SR22 designed for private travel. These join the company’s existing aircraft, including a Beechcraft 1900 turboprop for group travel and another Cirrus SR22.

The aircraft will connect travellers to several O&L Leisure properties, including Mokuti Etosha, Strand Hotel Swakopmund and Chobe Water Villas in the Zambezi Region.

Supporting curated journeys across Namibia

Sven Thieme, O&L Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director of O&L Leisure, said the aircraft support the company’s vision of showcasing Namibia through carefully curated travel experiences.

He said the expanded fleet enables guests to explore Namibia’s diverse landscapes, cultures and wildlife more seamlessly while enhancing comfort and convenience across the journey.
