Nestled in the heart of the South Atlantic, St. Helena is about to become even more accessible, thanks to the launch of an exciting seasonal mid-week flight.

Starting from November 28, 2023, and running through the end of February 2024, travellers can take advantage of this fantastic opportunity to explore the remote charms of St. Helena. This new service, introduced by Airlink, is set to redefine the way you experience this unique island.

The seasonal mid-week flights are scheduled every Tuesday and will be operated by Airlink, utilising the reliable and comfortable Embraer E190 aircraft. These new flights are a complement to Airlink’s regular Saturday services, effectively doubling the weekly frequency. This is fantastic news for anyone looking to visit St. Helena, offering more capacity and flexibility to travellers eager to explore this picturesque island.

These seasonal flights are a game-changer for St. Helena tourism. Not only do they provide extra capacity, but they also open up the possibility of shorter stays and long weekends, making your journey more convenient than ever. With the increased number of available seats and the improved flight frequency, you can now plan your visit with confidence, ensuring that you can secure seats during your preferred times of travel.

Rodger Foster, CEO and Managing Director of Airlink, shared his enthusiasm for this new connection. “St. Helena is a uniquely important destination in Airlink’s network, and we are privileged to be able to support the island’s economy by providing the much-needed extra mid-week peak season connectivity that enables tourism, while also promoting trade and providing a vital air bridge to the world via Airlink’s main Johannesburg hub,” he expressed.
