If you tuned into Network 7’s Sunrise this week, you would have seen presenter Sam Mac enjoy the best of South Africa’s stunning sights, diverse cultures, and incredible wildlife.

Viewers of Australia’s most popular breakfast television show had a glimpse into what South Africa can offer as the show ran from 11-15 November, as Sam took a journey into South Africa’s hidden gems, venturing into some of its most beautiful, yet unexplored places; getting up close to Africa’s most dangerous animal; delving into Zulu culture; discovering where the White Rhino was saved from extinction; and marvelling at the beauty of the iconic Cape Town, its sprawling winelands and its sumptuous cuisine.

South African Tourism Australasia’s Acting Hub Head, Yana Shvarts said, “We’re so excited to welcome Sam back to South Africa and thrilled to say it’s his third visit! As Sam has no doubt found, there’s always something new to discover in South Africa – new places to explore, more spectacular scenery to see and unique experiences to be had – but I have no doubt, it’s the warmth of our people that keep him coming back.”

“We hope Aussies across the country are equally touched by his experiences in South Africa and that they might come and discover our unforgettable destination for themselves.”
