This is Africa launches “earn your place” incentive for 2027 luxury famil

This Is Africa is inviting Australian travel advisors to book their way onto an 18-day familiarisation trip through South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana, running 2 to 19 November 2027. Advisors qualify for a place by reaching booking targets, giving agents a concrete incentive to push Southern Africa sales over the next 12 months.

Billed as the Roar & Explore Luxury Africa Fam, the trip is fully escorted by This Is Africa and valued at more than $35,000 per person, covering 17 nights in five-star properties across three countries.

Itinerary spans three countries and six luxury camps

The route takes in Johannesburg, Chobe National Park, Victoria Falls, Cape Town, Gansbaai and Sabi Sands before finishing in the Greater Kruger region. Confirmed properties include Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa in Johannesburg, Chobe Game Lodge, The Elephant Camp & Waterfalls Lodge in Victoria Falls, Claremont Boutique Hotel in Cape Town, Grootbos Private Nature Reserve in Gansbaai, Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge in Sabi Sands and Sandringham Private Nature Reserve in the Greater Kruger.

Game viewing includes 4WD drives in Kruger and Chobe National Parks, plus water-based safaris on the Chobe River. The itinerary also builds in a guided tour of Victoria Falls and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Land package covers meals, transfers and key city tours

The land-only package includes all meals and most beverages, land and water-based game activities, meet-and-greet airport transfers and road transfers between properties, park and entrance fees, and local government taxes. Flights are excluded.

Beyond the safari component, the itinerary includes a Table Mountain and city tour in Cape Town, a Soweto and Hector Pieterson Museum tour in Johannesburg, and the Victoria Falls and Zambezi cruise inclusions noted above.

How advisors can qualify

This Is Africa has not published specific booking targets or qualifying criteria in the flyer supplied; advisors should check the agent portal for full terms on how bookings translate into fam places. The company’s 2027 brochure is now available via the same portal.
