Travelmarvel has launched its Africa 2027/28 program, expanding its small group touring offering across Southern and East Africa as demand for the region continues to grow among Australian travellers.
The new season introduces updated itineraries, additional accommodation partners and enhanced on-ground experiences, with tours capped at a maximum of 24 guests to support a more personalised travel style.
small group touring drives personalised Africa journeys

The program centres on small group tours designed to deliver flexibility and closer engagement with destinations, supported by dedicated tour directors, local guides and safari driver-guides in East Africa.
Travelmarvel CEO David Cox said Africa remains a key growth market for the brand, with the latest program building on more than a decade of touring experience in the region.
new lodges and experiences added across itineraries

New inclusions for 2027/28 include a stay at Mdluli Safari Lodge in Kruger National Park and a Cape Town base at The Commodore Hotel. The program also introduces additional Insider Experiences and optional enhancements, such as a Bo-Kaap cooking tour and food and wine experiences in the Western Cape.
A key itinerary is the 15-day Cape Town to Chobe Adventure, combining South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, with wildlife viewing, cultural encounters and a premium tented stay in Kruger National Park.
For longer journeys, the 28-day Grand African Journey links Southern Africa with Kenya and Tanzania, including up to 22 game-viewing activities and highlights such as the Maasai Mara and Serengeti.
A dedicated 14-day Kenya and Tanzania Adventure focuses solely on East Africa, offering smaller group sizes and multiple game drives with expert trackers.
strong demand expected for 2027/28 departures
Travelmarvel expects strong uptake for the new season, with Africa continuing to gain traction as a high-value, experience-led destination for Australian travellers.
The program is now on sale, with early booking offers available for couples.
