TTC Tour Brands top sellers Roar & Soar with South Africa safari incentive

TTC Tour Brands and Flight Centre Australia and New Zealand have wrapped up their joint “Roar & Soar” sales incentive, sending top-performing advisors to South Africa on a seven-night educational trip across Cape Town and Kruger National Park. The campaign rewarded strong sales across TTC Tour Brands’ portfolio and gave winners first-hand exposure to guided travel products under the Contiki and Trafalgar brands.

Incentive highlights guided touring offer

The programme recognised advisors who delivered standout sales across Contiki, Trafalgar, Costsaver and Insight Vacations, including Trafalgar’s river cruise product. Winners experienced a hosted itinerary designed to showcase the breadth of South Africa as a guided holiday destination, combining city touring, cultural experiences and safari.

The trip included visits to Table Mountain, a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® experience in Langa township, and a hands-on cooking class in Cape Town, before moving on to Kruger for wildlife viewing.

Kruger safari delivers standout moments

The safari element of the incentive proved to be one of the strongest highlights of the trip, with participants reporting close-up Big Five encounters in Kruger National Park.

Claire Simon, TTC Tour Brands Queensland Sales Manager, said the journey had been one of the strongest educational trips she had hosted.

“In all my years in travel, this was the most incredible fam I have ever hosted, seamlessly showcasing the strengths of both Contiki and Trafalgar. From standing atop Table Mountain and participating in a moving Make Travel Matter Experience with the Amy Foundation, to spotting the Big Five in Kruger National Park, South Africa truly stays in your heart.”

Simon Small, Partnership Manager at Europ Assistance for Flight Centre Travel Insurance, said a lion sighting stood out as a defining moment.

“Just after sunrise in Kruger National Park, we came across a pride of more than 10 lions walking casually down the road right toward us. Sitting in absolute silence with no other vehicles around was one of the most breathtaking wildlife encounters I’ve ever experienced.”

Trade engagement stays focused on product knowledge

The incentive reflects the continued role of experiential rewards in deepening advisor knowledge and strengthening engagement with guided touring brands. By putting high-performing sellers on the ground, TTC Tour Brands and Flight Centre were able to connect sales performance directly with product immersion in one of Africa’s most marketable long-haul destinations.

The combination of Cape Town and Kruger also gave participants a broad view of how South Africa can be sold across different traveller segments, from culture and food to wildlife and purpose-led experiences.
