Uganda’s Ministry Of Internal Affairs, Directorate of Citizenship & Immigration Control, have released a statement advising that due to an on going system upgrade, travellers to Uganda will be unable to access online visa services.

As a temporary measure, until the system is restored, an exemption allowing travellers to come to Uganda without obtaining a Travel Authorisation Letter is in place.

Travellers are still required to bring all visa requirements with them and provide the correct documentation on arrival. Please see the full government statement below.
