Rwanda is set to add a new benchmark in luxury hospitality with the opening of The Pinnacle Kigali, a boutique hotel launching in January 2026 in the exclusive Rebero suburb of Kigali. With just nine individually styled guest rooms, the property promises an intimate, design-led experience for discerning travellers.
A new expression of modern African luxury
Each guest room features bespoke furnishings, smart lighting and curated pan-African art, creating a sophisticated blend of technology and cultural identity. Founder and owner Sheila Kyarisiima describes the property as “an expression of what modern African luxury can be,” combining international flair with Rwandan creativity and hospitality.
Elevated amenities and immersive dining

Guests will have access to a rooftop bar with panoramic city views, a saltwater infinity pool, full-service spa, modern gym, sports courts, a 21-seat private cinema, bowling alley, games lounge and library. Dining is central to the hotel’s offering, with four restaurants serving Afro-Asian fusion, pan-European and Mediterranean dishes, alongside a dedicated teppanyaki concept.
Sustainability woven into the guest experience

The Pinnacle’s commitment to sustainability includes a fleet of fully electric vehicles for airport transfers and city excursions, as well as solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling and on-site water purification.
Included in the stay are VIP airport meet-and-greet services, massages and laundry. A unique “departure amenity” also allows guests to return to the hotel after excursions to relax before heading to the airport.
