Viking has announced a new Virtual Explorer Sessions, giving travel agents and their clients the opportunity to explore some of the cruise line’s most popular itineraries across Egypt, while allowing agents to earn Rewards by Viking points.
Following the success of Viking’s Grand European Virtual Session last year, the complimentary program has been expanded with two new live online events scheduled for February and March 2026. Both sessions are open to agents and their clients, with advisors encouraged to invite customers who are researching their next Viking journey.
Viking’s Virtual Explorer Sessions provide an immersive introduction to the Viking experience, offering insights into the cruise line’s river and ocean itineraries across seven continents, guided by Viking destination experts.
Virtual Explorer Session: Pharaohs & Pyramids

This one-hour live session will focus on Viking’s Pharaohs & Pyramids itinerary, a 12-day Cairo-based journey through Egypt’s most iconic sites. Hosted by a Viking expert who has sailed the itinerary, the session will showcase highlights including the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings, the temples of Luxor and a Nile cruise aboard Viking’s purpose-built ships.
The session includes a live Q&A, the chance to win prizes on the day, and access to a special event-only booking offer.
Agent rewards and referral benefits
Agents will earn AU$10 in Rewards by Viking points for each referred client who attends a Virtual Explorer Session. If that client books within 14 days of the event, agents will receive an additional AU$50 in bonus points.

These sessions are designed as a conversion tool for agents, providing clients with expert-led inspiration while supporting stronger booking outcomes and added rewards for advisors.
