The Wilderness Collection in Tanzania will launch its latest safari camp, Warangi Ridge Lodge, in Serengeti National Park on 1 June 2025.
This luxurious new property will be a sister lodge to Crater’s Edge in Ngorongoro, which recently celebrated its first anniversary.
Luxury and panoramic views
Perched on a stunning granite cliff, Warangi Ridge Lodge offers breathtaking views of the Serengeti’s savanna, grasslands, and iconic kopjes. Facilities include a library, lounge bar, restaurant, yoga deck, open-air gym, spa, and an infinity pool nestled among acacia trees.
The lodge features twenty beautifully designed tented suites inspired by the surrounding landscape and the endangered pangolin. Each suite includes a private deck with a plunge pool, king-sized bed, freestanding bathtub, and outdoor shower. Two-bedroom family suites ensure comfortable accommodation for groups.
Conservation at the core
Located in a wildlife-rich area, guests will witness incredible predator-prey interactions, including lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and the iconic Great Migration. The Wilderness Collection is dedicated to protecting pangolins and supports cheetah population research through its involvement with the Serengeti Cheetah Project. The lodge is situated within the TANAPA Research Area, contributing to ecological monitoring and sustainable park management.
Activities for all ages
Guests can enjoy day and night game drives, river walks along the Orangi River, specialized birding walks, and eco-nature walks. Child-friendly activities cater to young explorers aged 5–15, making the lodge a perfect destination for families.
Conveniently located 41 kilometres from the Seronera airstrip, Warangi Ridge Lodge is set to become a must-visit destination in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife areas.
