Zanzibar White Sand holds 2027 rates amid product upgrades

Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa has confirmed its 2027 rates will remain at 2026 levels, alongside a series of product enhancements aimed at strengthening its position in the Indian Ocean luxury market.

The move comes as long-haul travellers continue to prioritise value and booking certainty.

Rate freeze supports forward bookings

The resort has frozen accommodation rates for 2027, with only minor adjustments to its full-board meal plan.

Additional incentives include a 10 per cent saving on stays of five nights or more, as well as honeymoon benefits, providing added value for key leisure segments.

For the Australian trade, rate stability offers a clearer pricing framework for forward sales into the Zanzibar market.

New villa targets family and group travel

A new Garden Two-Bedroom Villa will launch from 15 July 2026, offering an option tailored to families and small groups.

The villa features interconnected bedrooms, a private plunge pool and hot tub, responding to growing demand for spacious, private accommodation in resort settings.

Sustainability and access enhancements

The property has also reached a sustainability milestone, with all accommodation now powered by 100 per cent solar energy.

Additional upgrades include a beachfront yoga platform with complimentary classes and the introduction of helicopter transfers, reducing transfer time to approximately 20 minutes from the airport.

These additions aim to enhance both the guest experience and the property’s appeal within the high-end market.

As Zanzibar continues to grow as a bush-and-beach extension, product developments such as these support stronger packaging opportunities for East Africa itineraries.
