With so many attractions in Uganda to choose from, planning and organising a safari can be difficult even daunting. Some questions are pretty straightforward to answer like where to start and end a safari or how many days should a safari last.
The more challenging questions revolve around how many activities can you fit into a day or the best way to combine multiple activities to get the best out of visiting a specific region. With all this in mind Let’s Go Travel has created two quintessentially Uganda Small Group Safaris that take out all the hassle of planning a safari.
The 11-day Small Group Safari and the 8-day Small Group Safari have been specifically designed to give a traveller the very best experience of Uganda by offering a balance between participating in activities and excursions as well as time to relax and appreciate the surroundings and atmosphere. This balance is important as sometimes the tendency is to pack too much into a safari.
How do Small Group Safaris work?
Let’s Go Travel has scheduled one 11-day safari and one 8-day safari every month. However for the departure to take place there needs to be a minimum of 2 confirmed passengers on one of the safaris.

The 11-Day Small Group Safari gives you the best chance of seeing the BIG 5 in Uganda. This is because of the visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which is the only place in Uganda where you can see wild rhinos. If you are lucky by the end of Day 3 you may have seen the BIG 5 as Murchison Falls National Park is home to Lion, Leopard Buffalo and Elephant. But don’t worry if you don’t see a Leopard in Murchinson Falls you get one more chance when you visit Lake Mburo National Park towards the end of the safari.
