Accor has entered South Africa with a new brand, the Pullman Cape Town City Centre which opened in September. This is Accor’s first property under the exclusive Pullman Hotels & Resorts brand in South Africa.

Kasada, the leading independent real estate private equity platform dedicated to the hospitality industry in Africa, acquired the former Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence, which has now been rebranded to Pullman Cape Town City Centre.

The architecturally acclaimed 104-metre-high building has 214 hotel rooms, offering guests views of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, and Cape Town’s cityscape. The property is close to Cape Town International Convention Centre and the culinary neighbourhoods in Bree and Long Street, making it ideal for business and leisure travellers.

Accor Chief Operating Officer, Premium, Midscale & Economy Division, Middle East, Africa & Turkey, Paul Stevens, said “The Pullman Cape Town City Centre is poised to amplify the brand’s presence and encapsulate the essence of the city – a fusion of hidden gems, adventurous escapades, and innovative business prospects, beckoning guests from every corner of the world. Cape Town, with its blend of cosmopolitan allure and natural beauty, stands as an irresistible destination for both leisure explorers and business pioneers.”
