African Travel Specialists launches new Signature East Africa Safari

African Travel Specialists has unveiled a new guided Signature East Africa Safari, departing 20 June 2026, led by the company’s Owner and Managing Director, Richard Ruskin.

The 17-day itinerary has been designed to coincide with the annual wildebeest migration and will take travellers through key wildlife regions in Kenya and Tanzania, including Lake Elementaita, Samburu National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and the Masai Mara.

Experienced guide-led safari experience

Richard Ruskin has more than 23 years’ experience as a professional safari guide and guide trainer, with extensive time spent guiding safaris across East Africa, including multiple migration seasons.

Throughout the journey, Ruskin will accompany the group, providing insight into wildlife behaviour, ecosystems and conservation. He is also an experienced wildlife photographer and will offer guidance to guests interested in photography during the safari.

Accommodation and itinerary design

The safari includes a combination of tented camps, safari lodges and hotels, selected for their locations within or near prime game-viewing areas. The itinerary has been structured to allow multiple nights in key destinations, supporting a slower pace of travel and extended time on game drives.

The Signature East Africa Safari runs for 17 days and 16 nights and is scheduled to depart on 20 June 2026.
