Each year, over two million wildebeest, zebra and other herbivores trek from the southern Serengeti to the lush green grasses of the Masai Mara. This profusion of plains game attracts predators such as hyenas and the Big Cats, so game-viewing is particularly rewarding.

July to October is usually when the herds move through Kenya’s Masai Mara and for this period we have put together special itineraries combining the Masai Mara National Reserve and other wildlife rich parks & conservancies in Kenya. Accommodation is in authentic traditional safari bush camps that epitomize traditional safari elegance and warm hospitality. The Porini Camps, situated off the beaten track, In Selenkay (Amboseli) , Laikipia and the Mara and within exclusive wildlife conservancies where lease is paid to the local communities who own the land so they too benefit from tourism. Each Porini Camp offers an intimate safari experience away from the crowds. Careful attention has been taken to leave a small foot print on nature, the camps have no permanent structures and are solar powered offering guests an away from it all, and a reflective immersion into their natural surroundings.
