Hideaways Africa doubles down on Zimbabwe with trade offers and Tripadvisor recognition

Hideaways Africa is strengthening its position in Zimbabwe and Botswana with a combination of new trade-ready offers and recent Tripadvisor recognition, giving agents fresh selling tools across southern Africa.

The update brings together tactical incentives designed to drive bookings alongside third-party validation of product quality, supporting conversion in a competitive safari market.

Tripadvisor awards boost credibility

Hideaways Camp Kuzuma in Botswana and Hideaways Nantwich Lodge in Zimbabwe have both been named in Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2026, placing them among the top-rated properties globally based on guest reviews over the past 12 months.

The recognition reflects consistent guest satisfaction and strengthens the positioning of both camps for agents seeking proven, reliable product in key wildlife regions.

Camp Kuzuma sits within the Chobe Enclave, known for high elephant densities, while Nantwich Lodge overlooks a permanent water source in northern Hwange, attracting a steady flow of wildlife including elephant, buffalo and lion.

Offers target conversion and itinerary building

Alongside the awards, Hideaways has released a suite of tactical offers aimed at simplifying logistics and increasing value for clients.

A key promotion includes a complimentary helicopter transfer from Victoria Falls when booking a four-night stay split between Bumbusi Wilderness Camp and Nantwich Lodge, designed to reduce transfer time and enhance the overall experience.

Other offers include free one-way flights into Hwange for stays of three nights or more at Bumbusi, as well as a “pay four, stay five” deal combining Hwange with a night in Victoria Falls.

These bundled inclusions respond to growing demand for seamless, all-in experiences, particularly among long-haul travellers.

Multi-night incentives support longer stays

Hideaways is also encouraging extended itineraries through a pay-stay offer, where clients booking nine nights across selected Zimbabwe and Botswana properties receive two nights free.

The structure allows agents to combine multiple lodges while maintaining competitive pricing, supporting higher-value bookings and longer stays.

Trade relevance for Australian market

For Australian agents, the combination of recognised product and value-driven offers provides practical tools for selling Zimbabwe and Botswana as part of broader southern Africa itineraries.

With strong wildlife credentials, fewer crowds and increasing accessibility, Zimbabwe in particular continues to gain traction as an alternative to more established safari destinations.
