Minor Hotels has announced the signing of NH Collection Pemba Island Resort, marking the brand’s debut in Tanzania and expansion into the Zanzibar archipelago.
New resort planned for Pemba Island
The resort will be developed in partnership with Infinity Developments, the company behind the Anantara Zanzibar Resort & Residences project currently under construction.
The new signing strengthens Minor Hotels’ presence across East Africa and reflects the group’s continued investment in expanding its hospitality portfolio in the region.
Expanding the NH Collection brand
NH Collection Pemba Island Resort is expected to open in 2030 and will offer a luxury island experience combining contemporary design with premium hospitality.
The development is intended to support the growing demand for high-end travel experiences across East Africa and the Indian Ocean region.
