The Lux Collective unveils festive season programmes across seven Mauritius resorts

The Lux Collective has released details of its 2026/27 festive season programming across seven Mauritius properties, giving Australian advisors a range of theme nights, dates and inclusions to work with when quoting December and January stays. Each resort has built a distinct theme and season length, so advisors should match specific dates to individual client travel windows.

Flagship resorts run overlapping but distinct celebrations

LUX* Grand Baie, the group’s flagship resort, runs “The House of Light” from 23 December 2026 to 8 January 2027, with beachside apéritifs, rooftop dinners at Bisou restaurant, spa rituals at LUX* ME Spa and family-oriented festive activities building to Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations.

LUX* Le Morne’s “Timeless Memories” programme includes sunset catamaran cruises, champagne and caviar service, and pop-up steak and lobster dinners, with a masquerade-themed New Year’s Eve event. Specific dates for Le Morne’s programme were not supplied.

LUX* Grand Gaube’s “Island Nights & Golden Lights” theme leans on the resort’s retro design, with vintage décor and a New Year’s Eve Tropical Gala Night. LUX* Belle Mare’s “Ocean of Light” programme reimagines Christmas and New Year with a sustainability focus, incorporating local design and conscious craftsmanship. Dates for both were not specified in the release.

Adults-only, family and private island options also featured

SALT of Palmar, an adults-only boutique hotel, runs its festive programme from 22 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, including a beach Tree Lighting Ceremony, a Mauritian Night with local food and performances, bakery workshops, yoga, market visits to Flacq Market, art therapy with wine, mixology classes and a Christmas log baking session with the resort’s pastry chef.

Tamassa Bel Ombre’s family-focused “Glow in the Dark” programme runs from 16 December 2026 to 2 January 2027, featuring the Tamassa Olympic Games on the beach, nights at the resort’s Jalsa nightclub, spa rituals, jumping castles and water slides for children.

Île des Deux Cocos, a private island property, offers “Island After Dark” as a bookable exclusive-use option for corporate events and private celebrations, running from 6pm to midnight with sunset cocktails, island cuisine and live entertainment. Specific dates were not supplied; this option is arranged on request.

Advisors quoting for December 2026 and January 2027 Mauritius stays should confirm current rates and availability directly with each property, as pricing was not included in the material supplied.
