Adventure World recently recognized World Rhino Day (22 September) and World Gorilla Day (24 September) through its Authentic Africa Collection, a series of immersive itineraries that put conservation first with this endangered wildlife.

“At Adventure World, we are passionate about rhinos, gorillas and their conservation,” said Managing Director, Neil Rodgers.”

“On both World Rhino Day and World Gorilla Day we are reminded of the importance of these amazing creatures and the urgent need to protect them.  Rhinos and gorillas are facing a number of threats, including poaching, habitat loss, and climate change. If we don’t act now, these magnificent animals could be lost forever”, added Rodgers.

Adventure World is committed to doing its part recently releasing the Authentic Africa Collection, supporting local conservation and community efforts prioritising Travel with Purpose. Educating our guests about the importance of these animals and the threats they face is the beginning of starting something bigger.

Unveiling Remarkable Initiatives in Kruger

The Adventure World Authentic Southern Africa itinerary shines a spotlight on the Kapama Private Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. Their anti-poaching units are crucial to the conservation of species in the greater Kruger region. Education is key to conservation, and as part of Kapama’s community development program, guests can visit Makwetse School during school term, see their Eco Village, exchange with the students and teachers, and can provide additional support via their Pack for a Purpose program.
