With the news of South African Airways (SAA) flights returning to Australia, the team from the Walshe Group, SAA and South Africa Tourism recently held launch events in Sydney and New Zealand to welcome back the Perth to Johannesburg flights.
South African Airways triumphantly returned to Perth on 29 April 2024, rekindling its esteemed service connecting Johannesburg to Western Australia’s vibrant capital.
Speaking at the event in Sydney last week, South Africa Airways country manager, Australia & New Zealand, Michael Hall, said “We are delighted to see the return of this service to take Australians to South Africa in 2024.”
South African Tourism Australia Marketing and Communications Manager, Yana Shvarts, added that the flights offer Australians an affordable option to experience the best of South Africa.
With the resumption of thrice-weekly services, totalling 78,936 seats annually, South African Airways embarks on a promising chapter, reigniting the flame of connectivity and fostering closer ties between two vibrant regions separated by oceans yet united in spirit.
